No Uncommon Show this week

The Uncommon Show will not be taping this week. The Parson, Mrs Parson, and the lil’ Parsons are headed out to Washington DC to attend the 8/28 Restoring Honor rally on the steps of the Lincoln Memorial. This rally will feature Glenn Beck, Sarah Palin, and some surprise speakers. It’s awesome that the Uncommon Show will have a presence at this event and we wish the Parson safe travels and Godspeed. See you all next week!!

Amen, brother. I think it’s a good thing that the organizers banned all signs and placards. Better to do without than to risk being the victim of astroturf.
The Parson is just a couple of hours out, in the Pennsylvania mountains. Making good time.

Let’s all say a prayer that this thing remains peaceful.
Trust me, count on it, it’s going to happen, the adversary will be there, pulling strings and working behind the scenes in order to make just one video moment that could haunt this event forever.
All it takes is one.
A liberal supported left wing ‘GZ’ mosque supporter loon could stab a Muslim taxi driver in new York, and the media wouldn’t notice. (Oh, check that, he already did. Yesterday. Did you know that?) But one little event, one plant with a racist sign is all MSNBC, CNN and all the major MSM will need to have ammo to destroy this weekend.
Pray that the good Americans in attendance will keep their heads when confronted with the likes of Al Sharpton, SEIU, and yes, even the horribly misguided fools driven by the demonic ‘Rev.’ Fred Phelps. It will all be there this weekend, all looking for an opening.
