Hi Dave,
This was my before-breakfast news - never mind blood pressure, my stomach was so hard I thought I was going to lose last night's papaya........I was so inflamed at the message in my inbox that I was going to hit "reply" and deny the possibility, but thought better and read the whole article. My thoughts were so depressed thinking another person was really into for the money and speaking engagements, not to mention a strong backing for President.

You're right, although I knew Norma McCorvey (I just had to look up her name in your discussion) recanted the rape story, I did not know she did not, in fact, have an abortion.

Free press? Right........by the way, yesterday I followed a link from an email you sent and subscribed to the Internet newspaper from which it came. Thanks for that....another day of stomach wrenching reading with respect to the hearing held by Sen. Mikulski over government funding for abortions in the new health care bill. Such flowery language was used that Sen. Orrin Hatch had to ask her if it specifically included abortions. Her reply was just as evasive. Later she condescended to another objecting Senator by saying if he had an idea of how to re-word it so that he would be able to vote for it Sen. Hatch spoke out and asked her if she would insert language that would exclude payment for abortions, she plainly said (for once), "No." The bill passed with so many proxies it made me sick.
I am thankful for your writings.
Just wondering.......do you believe Norma is guilt-ridden, or that the worst of us sinners should be? John, in his sermon Sunday, spoke of regret and remorse - a Christian could feel the former, but should not feel the latter. If we hang on to guilt over sins that were confessed to Him, are we really believing the Lord forgave us?
Thanks again, Dave. Thanks to both John and you for this "uncommon" experience. Perses
